This new work, Muse AI Landscape, while in the broad category of digital art, was created using an AI app (artificial intelligence) with the artist, Karen Francis, typing in four descriptive terms and selecting a style and a few options. I also uploaded an original photograph I took in Shelby Farms Park of an island in a lake as the basis of the adaptations. The app generates numerous iterations with variations of the image within the parameters given to it. This image was selected as a Feature in The Artists Group on FAA Learn more at YouTube channel blessings427 and this artists’ blog on FAA soon.
I paint primarily in oil, frequently exploring digital art through video, film creation, artificial intelligence, and new mobile apps. An American artist, born in Memphis, TN, I've exhibited my paintings in brick & mortar galleries in five states, Washington DC, as well as China and India, plus numerous other venues and benefits. I seek to create harmonious images expressing love of life and find inspiration in travel, having visited twenty countries, and forty-six states in the U.S. While partially self taught through studying the works at the great art museums of the world and reading books, I've also taken art classes at the Art Students League of New York, the Torpedo Factory in Virginia, George Mason University, the Corcoran...
